Welcome to Technology

 

Hello, I'm Ms. Moore, and I will be your child's Technology teacher. I couldn't be more excited! If your child is in 1st - 5th grade, I will teach them computer literacy and the basics for using a computer. 7th grade students will learn Introduction to Robotics in my class, while 8th grade will delve into Advanced Robotics. All 6th grade students will learn more advanced technology skills  in my Tech Apps class, while 7th and 8th will explore College and Careers.

Parents for students grades 2 - 8, consider adding a wireless mouse and earbuds to your child's supply list. I will be teaching mouse skills and many of them do much better on their Chromebook with a mouse rather than using the mouse pad. We also do lots of technology activities that require earphones. Though I have a few earphones that I let students borrow, with COVID, it is safer for them to have their own readily available.
